Kingdom Men
My kingdom men!!
You know I truly didn’t know what a kingdom man was until I actually started reading and living the Gospel. And also when I read Kingdom Man by Tony Evans. Such an amazing book and I always go back to it. Now I am not perfect but I am making progress, all glory to God 🙏🏽
It reminds me how much of a privilege it is that God has given us to be men and lead.
During the pandemic God really gave me a heart for fatherless men and boys. Why? Because I was trying to figure out why society’s morals has decreased and God pin pointed to the lack of leadership of men in our society. Through research, when boys don’t have fathers the chances of incarceration, school drop out and suicide increase dramatically.
A quote from Kingdom men by Tony Evans
“Roughly 70 percent of all prisoners come from fatherless homes. Approximately 80 percent of all rapists with anger problems come from fatherless homes. The statistics on fatherlessness outside of the prison population are just as alarming. Seventy-one percent of all high school dropouts come from fatherless homes; 63 percent of all teen suicides occur in homes where the father was either abusive or absent”
This culture and the enemy wants to attack our men, because he knows if he hits men he hits the biggest building block of our society. The enemy is using culture to distort what a man is and the role he should even play in society. You see men shouting and cheering at football games but we don’t hear them cheering for Jesus.
What is a kingdom man? In Tony Evans Book he states:
“A kingdom man, therefore, is one who visibly demonstrates the comprehensive rule of God underneath the Lordship of Jesus Christ in every area of his life.”
When I think of kingdom men I think of 4 P’s
Provide
Protect
Produce
Pray
Provide - we are called to provide for our families
”Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.“
1 Timothy 5:8 NIV
Protect - we are called to protect our families.
”In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.“
Ephesians 5:28 NIV
Produce- we are called to produce great results in our workplace, communities and at home. Not just financially but morally and ethically. Who you are will be shown by the fruit you produce
”But wisdom is proved right by all her children.”“
Luke 7:35 NIV
Pray- we are called to spiritual lead our home and the territories God has given us
”And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.“
Ephesians 6:18 NIV
A quote I love from Kingdom Men by Tony Evans
“As a kingdom man, you have been commissioned by heaven to rule on Earth while wearing a different kind of stripe. You have been cut from a different kind of cloth because you represent a different kind of kingdom in this battle.”
I know when people look at me because of the way I look or dress I might seem like very unconventional man. But we all come in different shapes, sizes and colors and it’s on my heart to empower men to be who they are called to be in their own unique way.
Anyways this was on my heart for today and I’m looking to do just a men’s group in the next couple of months but just planting seeds here.
God bless you all today.

”Nevertheless, in the Lord woman is not independent of man, nor is man independent of woman. For as woman came from man, so also man is born of woman. But everything comes from God.“
1 Corinthians 11:11-12 NIV
”But I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.“
1 Corinthians 11:3 NIV
”Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church— “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.” This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church. However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.“
Ephesians 5:21-29, 31-33 NIV
”A man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man. neither was man created for woman, but woman for man. It is for this reason that a woman ought to have authority over her own head, because of the angels. Nevertheless, in the Lord woman is not independent of man, nor is man independent of woman. For as woman came from man, so also man is born of woman. But everything comes from God.“
1 Corinthians 11:7, 9-12 NIV
