Don’t Be Deceived
”Jesus answered, “At that time deception will run rampant. So beware that you are not fooled!“
Matthew 24:4 TPT
The devil has been lying to me my whole life and he has for you too. When I started really doing things for the kingdom and pressing past my limiting beliefs I started to realize how many lies I had to press through. And things I thought were true weren’t actually true. Things I thought would break me did not. Things I thought would embarrass me did not. Things I thought would fail me did not. All the fears I had never came true!! There is a statistic that says 85% of the things you worry about never actually happen! This is so true.
This is why deception is dangerous and can only be overcome by prayer. When we are deceived we do not know we are deceived! That’s the problem. This is why we have to encourage each other daily. And pray that we are not deceived by our limiting beliefs and the deceitfulness of sin. Once we start living a life of sin the flesh can truly blind your thinking and our senses.
”See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.“
Hebrews 3:12-13 NIV
One of the biggest reasons we enter sin is because of our unbelief or because we are deceived thinking “oh if I just do this one time”. But many times that one time can be a big mistake. Look at the story of Adam and Eve. That one bite caused the fall for all of humanity.
The reason why we have to encourage others daily is because it’s a command from God and also the enemy likes to try to attack us daily so we need to have courage daily in order to move forward in what God has called us to do. And believe what he wants us to believe.
In the word it says in the end times the deception wil be so rampant Jesus would need to come back. Now every generation said Jesus was coming back in their generation but what if our generation is right.
Action: pray to God that you will not be deceived and you will live the truth and believe the truth
Prayer: Father, thank you Lord for all you have done. I pray you give me the strength guidance and peace I need to carry out the calling you have planned for me before you created the earth. Lord I pray that you take the scales from my eyes, and the eyes of my family and friends. Help us know the right way and the truth so we can believe in it and walk in it.
