This ain't just a history book ...

Good morning fam, you know if we just read the Bible as if God can’t do those same miracles through us then we are just reading a history book. If we don’t believe that God can do the same miracles or greater then we are limiting our God. As Jesus said we can do greater works.

”Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.“
‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭12‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The SAME God that delivered Daniel from the lion den
The SAME God that delivered David from Goliath
The SAME God that parted the waters
That SAME GOD lives in us!

At my job my manager nicknamed me “earthquake” because he said I shake up the room, all glory to God! But let me ask you this, are you shaking up the room or are you letting the room shake you?! Are you influencing culture or are you letting culture infect you?! Are you a thermometer or a thermostat?! We are called by God to be a Thermostat. A thermostat changes and regulates the environment, a thermometer reads and tells you temperature in the room. For many people and Christian’s all they do is read the room, read what’s going on in the world, read what’s going on in the environment of their job and community but never make a plan or take action to change it. We are called by God to be the light of world, we are not called to dim our light nor are we called to be 007 secret agent followers of Christ. We are called to be out there. We all have a ministry and all are called to be bold, we are called to lead.

Action: Think about how God can use you to make change. Can you make changes in your workplace? In your home? In your community? Your church? 1 on 1? Calling a friend to inspire and encouragement? Start small and you will be surprised what happens next.

Father thank you for todays bread Lord. Thank you in advance for doing a miracle in my life today. I pray right now you use me as a light everywhere I go Lord. Use me to inspire the masses for you Lord. Use me to encourage and help people that need help today Lord. I pray they will see the God in me. Thank you Jesus for everything. I pray all these things in Jesus name. Amen.
