TAKE ACTION TODAY (My favorite action verses)
TAKE ACTION TODAY! A couple of my favorite verses on action below. Are you waiting on God or is God waiting on you? God already equipped us and gave us authority. Everyday is another day to claim it. Faith will inform your action and your action will inform your faith. These verses below go along with my latest blog post WTF (Faith) here.
“But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.”
James 2:18-19 NIV
“In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.”
James 2:17 NIV
For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.”
2 Thessalonians 3:7-10
“If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them.”
James 4:17 NIV
“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.”
Galatians 6:7 NIV
“Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.”

“Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap.”
Ecclesiastes 11:4 NIV
“All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.”

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.””
Joshua 1:9 NIV
“According to your faith let it be done to you”
Matthew 9:29
“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.”
James 1:5-6, 8 NIV
““Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”
Mark 11:23-24 NIV
“Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.”
Ephesians 6:13 NIV
“In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.”
Ephesians 6:16 NIV
““If you love me, keep my commands.”
John 14:15 NIV
“You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless? Was not our father Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did.”
James 2:20-22 NIV
“For you yourselves know how you ought to follow our example. We were not idle when we were with you, 8 nor did we eat anyone’s food without paying for it. On the contrary, we worked night and day, laboring and toiling so that we would not be a burden to any of you. 9 We did this, not because we do not have the right to such help, but in order to offer ourselves as a model for you to imitate. For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.”
2 Thessalonians 3:7-10
“The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it “
Genesis 2:15
Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth.

Proverbs 10:5
Diligent hands will rule, but laziness ends in forced labor.
Proverbs 10:24
A sluggard’s appetite is never filled, but the desires of the diligent are fully satisfied.
Proverbs 13:4
Sluggards do not plow in season; so at harvest time they look but find nothing.
Proverbs 20:4
“What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.”
James 2:14-17 NIV
“Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.”
Ephesians 5:15-17 NIV
“For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.”
2 Timothy 1:7
