Raised Back To Life — KEVIN BENEJAM

“When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.””

‭‭John‬ ‭11‬:‭43‬-‭44‬ ‭NIV‬‬

This is the famous story of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead. This speaks to any dead situation in your life. God can truly make a dead situation come back to life. You’re probably wondering if God has so much power why did he let Lazarus die? As it says in John:

“But some of them said, “Could not he who opened the eyes of the blind man have kept this man from dying?””

‭‭John‬ ‭11‬:‭37‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Jesus waited to heal Lazarus to show the glory of God. After 3 days Jewish people truly believed the soul was truly gone out of the body. This is why Jesus waited and rose him from the dead on the 4th day. You may think God is late but he is always on time. As it says in the book of Peter: One day is 1,000 years for the Lord and 1,000 years is one day.

Jesus wanted to show the people how God can take anything that world says it’s impossible and make it possible through him. Is there a situation or obstacle in your life that seems impossible? Does it seem like you have been waiting so long that something good will never happen from it? I’m here to tell you if you wait on the Lord , trust in him, follow his ways, keep asking and praying, he will never fail you. And even if you don’t do everything right or perfect he still won’t fail you. He’s an awesome God.

Now in these situations we have two choices to do it our way or God’s way. Let’s keep asking God for boldness and faith so we can do it his way and allow that resurrection power to flow through our lives today. Note, when God does do this for you, do not look back, and take off your graves clothes. Your past is the past, it’s all history. It’s time to move forward. When do you get this testimony, give all the glory to God.

Action: what is a situation you need God to bring back to life? Ask him for his help today

Prayer: Lord God, thank you for everything. We magnify and glorify your name today. Lord you see my situation and my problem I am putting before you today. I pray right now in the mighty name of Jesus that you bring everything that is dead back to life. Lord if there is something dead in my life that needs to be remained dead keep is dead but if there is something that needs to be revived, I pray you bring it back to life. Thank you Jesus for all the testimonies in advance. We pray all these things in Jesus mighty name. Amen
